Research Mentoring

Lab811 students are trained to connect mechanics, computation, and data. Depending on the project, this can include continuum modeling, finite-element implementation, machine learning, uncertainty quantification, additive manufacturing, and mechanical characterization of printed specimens.

Before establishing Lab811, Yupeng Zhang mentored graduate and undergraduate researchers at Caltech, UCLA, and Northwestern. A full list appears on the People page.
